Dr. Barry Kay, Highly Acclaimed Eye Doctor in Hollywood Florida
Dr. Barry Kay has over 30 years experience as an Optometric Physician in South Florida. For many of those years Dr. Kay served as chief of Optometry in a busy multi-doctor surgical practice where he specialized in advanced vision and medical eye care. He also served as a clinical assistant professor for Nova Southeastern College of Optometry. He is a past president of the Broward County Optometric Association and was selected as the Broward County Optometrist of the year in 1989.
Dr. Kay’s eye training began at the University of Florida where he worked for the Department of Ophthalmology at Shands hospital during his undergraduate years. He went on to earn his Doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.
Dr. Kay is also quite active in his community. He has served on the executive board of the Broward Outreach Center and is a past president of the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Hollywood Business Association. He currently serves as the chairman of the City of Hollywood Parking Advisory Board.
Dr. Barry Kay’s philosophy is to listen carefully to the patient to determine their special needs. Dr. Kay will come up with the best solution to meet your individual requirements.
Dr. Jason Ogonowski, Optometrist of Hollywood Eyes Florida
With more than 10 years of experience as an Optometric Physician, Dr. Ogonowski specializes in contact lenses and the treatment and management of ocular disease. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stetson University and received his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Ogonowski was born and raised in Broward County and is a graduate of Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory in Hollywood.
As a native to Broward County and an active member in the community, where he lives and works with his wife of 14 years and two young children, Dr. Ogonowski has a strong understanding of what Hollywood Eyes’ clients care about. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ogonowski enjoys running, playing guitar and spending time with family.
